Each year, during the famous CHIO Aachen, the Aachen Soers represents the meeting point for the world’s best riders and horses. This showground belongs to the most modern and traditional venues in the equestrian world and offers ideal conditions to the athletes, horses and all involved.

Organizers Virginia Mehlkophf and Gina Trojan have created CSI Aachen to benefit from Aachen’s unique structure in order to organize a special show addressed to a wider riders’ target group, not necessarily ranking in the top of the world. In the Deutsche Bank Stadium, usually reserved to the dressage riders at the CHIO Aachen, they will host an international show jumping event (CSI) for the first time.

With the CSI**, CSI*, CSI-YH, the dream of “riding in Aachen” can become concrete reality.

From April 28th – May 1st 2016, 15 competitions are taking place within this event. Show jumping classes with heights from 1m25 to 1m50 in different formats promise an entertaining and diversified program.

400 permanent horse boxes, the 30mx80m big Deutsche Bank Stadium, the training area with dimensions of 50mx80m as well as latest infrastructure offer the perfect setting for all competitors and spectators.
