s we recently reported, Hans Dieter Dreher recently acquired the ride Colore, previously ridden by Beat Mandli. But according to PSI-magazin Beat Mandli has some big news of his own.
The owner of Colore and well known Swiss entrepreneur, Paul Bücheler, bought three horses at the PSI auction for the Swiss jockey to ride, including the most expensive 6 year old sold. If reports are correct, then it looks as though Beat has acquired the ride on the liver chestnut mare Altesse Gold (Armitage x Landgold) which was sold for the price of €800 000.
“Paul Schockemöhle has advised me years ago when buying Pozitano well and I think he gave me the right horse this time recommended,” said Bücheler.
The PSI auction the highest price rise to an astounding €2.31 million for a 5 year old Dressage prospect named Crack Sat Coeur.
The 33rd annual International performance sales finished in just over four and a half hours with a total turnover of 8,10 million Euro for the dressage horses and 7.48 million euro for the jumpers. Needless to say, the auction concluded with excellent results. All together about €15.5 million was achieved for 45 horses in total. The average proceeds amounted to €346,222. Jumping prospects averaged at a price of €340,000 overall.
