We trailered to our first show today in San Jorge village. The grounds are beautiful here and everyone is very nice. We all went in a 1.40m warm up competition today and we all jumped clear. We decided to keep Rush fresh and not go in the jump off. Francois had a fantastic day, he jumped double clear and won!
Rush felt fantastic in the ring and is ready for the Grand Prix on Sunday. Hoping for a 1 2 3 4 finish in the Grand Prix!
Until tomorrow,

Day 3
Today was a fantastic day. The Grand Prix was tough and all the Canadian horses jumped super. There was only 3 clear rounds in the first round and they took the top 10 back in the second round. Rush and I had one rail and one time fault for a total of 5 faults, missing the cut off for the second round. Jenn Serek and Eleanora had a great go with a total of 5 faults as well. Tamie Phillips kept things consistent with another 5 fault score on her mare Lerche. Francois had a beautiful round with just one time fault, making it for the second round. He laid down another faultless round in the second round and ended up second! Congratulations to him and the rest of our team! The horses are looking great and are all ready for the nations cup next week. I couldn’t ask for a better team or better support.
Special thank you to the very hospitable organizing committee at San Jorge village. It was a pleasure to compete here.
Now off to El Capricho for the Nations Cup!!
