Cas 2, the promising 10-year-old KWPN gelding (Indoctro x Numero Uno) that has been owned and ridden by Cameron Hanley, has been sold to the United States’ Copernicus Stables.

Team USA rider Audrey Coulter of Copernicus Stables will pick up the reins as Cas 2’s new rider.

Hanley, of Ireland, brought the horse up as a six year old through the Young Horse, CSI1*, 2* levels and beyond. They made their five star grand prix debut very recently at the Longines Master of Paris CSI5*, placing 12th on a four fault round. Hanley’s best finishes with the gelding include wins at CSI3* Allershal and CSI2* Lier. In 2016, he accumulated a consistent record of top-ten finishes at rated competitions throughout Europe.

Coulter spent 2016 proving herself on the world stage, with top finishes on the summer circuit in Europe. She made her first appearance at a World Cup Finals in 2016, and was part of Team USA at the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup Final in Barcelona, Spain.
