Eric Lamaze (CAN) and Artisan Farm LLC’s Zigali P S were presented with the Champion Equine Insurance Jumper Style Award for the overall circuit, which is awarded to the jumper whose style best exemplifies a show jumper based on scope, rideability, technique and competitive spirit. Lamaze and Zigali P S also won the overall WEF Challenge Cup Series Award.

Zigali PS was acquired by Artisan Farms in December of last year from Great Britain’s Daniel Neilson. The 10 year old Dutch-bred gelding attended his first show with Canada’s 2008 Olympic gold medalist that same month, competing at CHIO Geneva. The pair finished in the top 10 of the CSI5* Coupe de Geneve, already showing tremendous potential as a future international combination. Eric has expressed great excitement over his new 10 year old Dutch-bred mount. The pair earned four top 3 international placings during the 2014 FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival including their victory in the $50,000 Ruby et Violette Challenge Cup XI.

Congratulations to Eric Lamaze and Artisan Farms for a tremendous 2014 Winter Equestrian Festival season.
