Extra van Essene secured for Brazil’s Marlon Zanotelli….

Ashford Farms and Ireland’s Enda Carroll have secured the mount Extra van Essene for Brazil’s Marlon Modolo Zanotelli. The 11 year old gelding came to Ashford Farm for the 2013 season under the ownership of France’s Sylvie Levallois, in association with Eric Levallois.

Zanotelli and Extra van Essene recenctly finished second to Luciana Diniz and Fit for Fun 13 in the CSI5* Grand Prix of Basel. The pair also won the CSI3* “Temps Differe” in Stockholm, Sweden before their fifth place finish in the CSI5*-W Grand Prix of Helsinki, Finland. This past summer season, the pair finished finished second to Germany’s Daniel Deusser and Fyloe VH Claeyssenhof in the JLT Speed Stakes at the CSIO5* event in Dublin, Ireland. The results thus far have shown promise, so its with little hesitation that Ashford Farms has secured the 11 year old Belgian-bred gelding for the talented Marlon Zanotelli.
