The 12 year old Hello Sanctos (Quasimodo vd Molendreef x Nabab de Reve) has received the 2013 Horse of the Year award from the Belgian SbS Studbook. The gelding is currently ranked number two in the world on the WBFSH ranking, just behind his stable mate Ursula XII, as a result of excellent results with World #1 Scott Brash last year and the beginning of this year. The pair won team gold at the European Championships in Herning last year as well as individual bronze. In November, the pair not only won the 2013 Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Doha, but also the 2013 Global Champions Tour Season Championship as well. Last month, the pair finished the 2014 FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival very well by winning the CSI5* $500,000 Grand Prix in Wellington.
