Ireland’s Richard Howley Bests A Field of 95 to Win 1.40m Competition at Oslo CSI5*-W

A sparkling fast second phase in the 1.40m competition made Ireland’s Richard Howley and Billy Lemon 1st place victors at the Kingsland Oslo Horse Show CSI5*-W on Thursday, October 12, 2017.

The last class of the day saw a whopping field of 95 entries on the track designed by Norway’s Terje Olsen-Nalum and Anders Hafskjold. In phase 2, Howley and Billy Lemon produced a leading time of 29.21s to take home the lump sum of the 80,000 NOK purse.

Norway’s own Amalie Hegre and Remedy secured the 2nd place finish in 30.70s. France’s Olivier Robert and Fleur de Lune finished in 32.09s for 3rd place.
