“I was really happy when I found out two weeks ago that I was going to Aachen, and then that I made the team, I was a little bit nervous.”

And then, young Maurice Tebbel went to Aachen, jumped double clear in the prestigious Mercedes Benz Nations Cup, and helped his nation win. It was a dream come true for the German rider, who might have been nervous at the start of the week, but now is nothing but exhilarated after claiming one ocf show jumping’s most sought after classes. Tebbel, along with Marcus Ehning, Marco Kutscher, and Philipp Weishaupt, carried three, double clear rounds to win.
