Individual Gold Medalist Nick Skelton of Great Britain and Individual Bronze Medalist Eric Lamaze of Canada walked together to the podium, arm in arm, in advance of the Olympic medal ceremony on Friday, August 19th, 2016 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In a field of six horse-and-rider pairs, only Lamaze managed to best Skelton’s time in the jump off but not without dropping a rail and thus awarding Skelton with the top prize in the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympic Individual Show Jumping Final.
