Rolf-Goran Bengtsson’s stallion Quintero ASK retires…

Rolf-Göran Bengtsson’s jet-black stallion Quintero Ask was retired at the Holsteiner Verband’s stallion show on Saturday, February 1st, 2014. Quintero is now 16 -year-old and finished seventh place in the World Cup qualifier Grand Prix in Leipzig, Germany. Quintero will enjoy his future as a breeding stallion. “We were of the opinion that this was the right time to retire Quintero,” said Norbert Boley, director of the department of stallions and marketing at the Holsteiner Verband.

Quintero has had great success under Sweden’s Rolf -Göran Bengtsson. Last year the pair finished third in the Hermès Grand Prix in Paris, third in the Grand Prix in Bordeaux and sixth in the Rolex FEI World Cup Finals in Gothenburg. Rolf and Quintero have enjoyed many years of success together and now Quintero will enjoy many more years as a successful breeding stallion.
