Scott Brash & Hello Guv’Nor Win Prize Sportstall Tina Pol CSI5* at St. Moritz

Great Britain’s Scott Brash began his weekend at the Longines CSI5* St. Moritz in St Moritz, Switzerland on Thursday, August 25th by winning the Prize Sportstall Tina Pol, the feature class of the day. Brash rode the 11-year-old BWP gelding Hello Guv’Nor (Diamond de Sexily X Papillon Rouge) to finish first against 48 other starters. A total of sixteen starters rode clear in the single round, speed format class, with three more pairs picking up a single time fault.

Italy’s Lorenzo De Luca was in the lead with a time of 65.43 seconds riding the 9-year-old Belgian stallion Halifax van het Kluizebos (Heartbreaker X Fetiche Du Pas) before Brash entered the arena to best that time in 65.18 seconds that De Luca would finish in the 2nd spot.

As last to go in the order, Bronislav Chudyba from Slovakia tried his best to take home 1st place, but he and the 10-year-old Hannoverian mare Extasy II (El Bonito X Rhytmo) finished in 66.97 seconds earning at respectable 3rd place that followed his 2nd place earlier in the afternoon, in the Prize La Plaiv riding Pokerface 33.

4th place went to Holland’s Wout-Jan Van Der Schans and Capetown in a time of 67.97 seconds while 5th place was for France’s Jerome Hurel and Urano in 68.34 seconds. CSI5* and CSI2* competition in St Moritz will continue through the weekend.
