Sweden’s Alexander Zetterman announced last week on his Instagram that Karen Long Dwight purchased his World Equestrian Games mount Cafino for rider Victoria Colvin.

Victoria Colvin has been enjoying tremendous success in Wellington so far this season. Colvin went one-two and notched her fourth consecutive win in the $100,000 USHJA/WCHR Peter Wetherill Hunter Spectacular last week.

The 12-year-old Swedish-bred gelding competed twice at the European Junior and Young Rider Championships with Karl-Jacob Ingvarsson before Zetterman took over the ride last year. The pair earned top placings during the World Equestrian Games in Caen, Normandy, before returning to Europe where he topped the Longines Falsterbo Grand Prix in Sweden.

Zetterman and Cafino finished third with Team Sweden at the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup events in Dublin, Ireland and Barcelona, Spain.

“Thank you Cafino for all the great moments; you made me believe that dreams can come true! We wish the new owners good luck!” Zetterman said on Instagram.
