I Can't Stop Thinking About These Cowboy Boots

I Can't Stop Thinking About These Cowboy Boots

Known for their unique leatherwork, including embroidery, hand-tooling, and painting, Old Gringo turns cowboy boots into artwork. They’re so pretty, in fact, that I know I would never wear them outside of the house for fear of ruining them. But that doesn’t mean I can’t covet them. And covet I do. So hard.

The Eagle Crystal Zip booties retail for a cool $699—a bargain! Swarovski crystals outlining an eagle, a chunky 2” heel, and distressed caramel-colored leather live in perfect harmony on these fierce kicks. They’re both patriotic and loyal to no one. The bling makes them feminine, but the distressed leather makes the wearer appear tough and mysterious. Does she tame wild bison or does she run a PR firm in Los Angeles? She can do it all in these boots.

They're so fabulous, I've already built a Pinterest board around them: think Coachella (with less exposed skin) meets Nashville, with wavy hair and high-waisted denim. This long-distance love affair has already gotten out of hand.

I can see them paired with cuffed skinny jeans and a flowy top or a tee shirt dress, like this T by Alexander Wang one, and a straw hat by Janessa Leone.

Keep the outfit minimal—these boots speak for themselves. Plus, they show the perfect amount of ankle cleavage.

These boots were made for walkin', so if you're not an authentic cowgirl, don't fret. They would be just as much at home pounding the pavement in the big city as they would kicking up dust at some chic Montana ranch—they're versatile like that.

The Old Gringo website says, “these short boots are just what you need right now.” They’re not wrong.
