Dutch Show Jumping Team Announced for the 2016 Rio Olympic Games

The Dutch show jumping chef d’equipe, Rob Ehrens, has chosen a strong team of four championship riders, mirroring the gold medal-winning riders from the 2014 Alltech FEI World Championships and 2015 FEI European Championships. The Dutch show jumping team for the 2016 Rio Olympic Games has been confirmed as follows:

Jeroen Dubbeldam with the 12-year-old KWPN gelding SFN Zenith N.O.P. (Rash R X Fuego du Prelet) that is owned by Springpaarden Fonds Nederland and W. van der Ham.

Jur Vrieling with the12-year-old Selle Français stallion VDL Zirocco Blue N.O.P. (Mr. Blue X Voltaire) that is owned by W. Van De Lageweg and A. Jespers.

Maikel van der Vleuten with the 14-year-old KWPN stallion VDL Groep Verdi TN N.O.P. (Quidam de Revel X Landgraf I) that is owned by Stal vd Vleuten, Team Nijhof and C.A.M.vd Oetelaar.

Harrie Smolders with the 12-year-old BWP stallion Emerald N.O.P. (Diamant de Semilly X Carthago) tha is owned by Eurohorse Axel Verlooy BVBA and Harrie Smolders.


Gerco Schröder with the 14-year-old BWP stallion Glock’s London N.O.P. (Nabab de Reve X Chin Chin) that is owned by Glock HPC Holding BV.
