Houtzager’s Sterrehof’s Opium to retire in Amsterdam…

Marc Houtzager’s Sterrehof’s Opium will celebrate his retirement ceremony during his 19th birthday at the annual CSI5* event in Amsterdam, the Netherlands in early 2015. Along with his rider, 2012 Olympic Silver Medalist, Marc Houtzager, Sterrehof’s Opium represented the Netherlands at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and the European Championships in Windsor, United Kingdom. The couple also won numerous Grand Prix such as Maubeuge,’sHertogenbosh, Donaueschingen, Munich and the Nations Cup in Calgary.
