Ireland’s Denis Lynch victorious at CSI5*-W Gothenburg…

Denis Lynch started the week off right for Ireland with a win in this week’s CSI5*-W event in Gothenburg, Sweden. Riding the 15 year old Abbervail van het Dingeshof, Lynch was joined by sixteen other horse-and-rider combinations in the jump-off. With some of the world’s best riders, this jump off would prove to be a true race against the clock. Lynch secured the win with more than a second ahead of the Netherland’s Maikel van der Vleuten, who won the opening 1.45 speed class on VDL Groep Eureka. Third place went to the host nation’s very own Peder Fredricson riding H&M Flip’s Little Sparrow.
