Germany’s Janne Friederike Meyer has sold her chestnut gelding Baton Rouge (Tangelo vd Zuuthoeve x Habsburg) to the American rider Jennifer Gates. In the future, Baton Rouge will be ridden by Jennifer as well as her coach Hardin Towell. The aspiring young professional, Towell, has just qualified for the first time for the World Cup finals in Las Vegas.

Baton Rouge and Janne had many successful results at the international and national level including Frankfurt, Wiesbaden, Oliva and Poznan. The pair won the Prize for the Best Young Horse” at CSI Neumünster.

“Baton Rouge is a very special horse and it’s good to know that he will be further promoted by talented riders. He is the most lovable partner one can have and always fights for his rider” described Janne Meyer. “I’m looking forward to seeing him soon again in his new stable.”
