Rolf-Göran Bengtsson’s main sponsor Ask Stud has bought the 10 year old Unita for the 2011 European Champion. She will, in the future compete under the name Unita Ask. Bengtsson has already been riding Unita for a couple of months, and has earned some strong results on the mare at the CSI5* show in Oslo, Verona, Stuttgart and Basel. Unita was ridden by Team Bengtsson Kristoffersen-pupil Christiane Tetzlaff during most of 2013 after Bengtsson rode the mare in her international debut in 2012.

The hopes for Unita is that she will replace Bengtsson’s former top ride Quintero Ask, after the stallion retired earlier this year.

“Unita is a very complete horse that has impressed in the big classes the last months, she was for example sixth in the 1,55 Stuttgart Masters. I have known her for a couple of years already and look forward to continue to compete her in the future. I am of course very greatful that the Ask Stud has stepped in and secured this talented mare for me to ride,” Bengtsson states.
