The Tryon International Equestrian Center lit up the night in North Carolina on Saturday, October 23, 2016. Olympic medalists and young stars such as Jessica Springsteen with her mount Cynar VA flocked to the venue that three short years ago, was nonexistent. Now, it’s home to several CSI5* rated weeks, the highest level of international competition, with more to come.

A low-cost airline for equines and humans between Europe and North America, two, five-star weeks in a row, and an on-site USDA quarantine for recent arrivals from overseas were all mentioned in Saturday night’s press conference. From the shining stars who ride there to its very bright future, it is evident that Tryon International Equestrian Center is only getting bigger, and better.
