With tears in his eyes, Marcus Ehning rode the incredible Plot Blue into the Palexpo Arena to a standing ovation on Friday, December 11th, 2015. The 18-year-old KWPN stallion (Mr. Blue x Pilot) owned by Kathrin Somogyi enjoyed a long and decorated career with Germany rider Ehning, which in addition to countless grand prix victories around the world, included the 2010 FEI World Cup Jumping Finals Championship. Plot Blue is competing for the last time this weekend at CHI Geneva, Switzerland, and will be retired to live out his days happily as a breeding stallion in Borken, Germany.
