Following the choice made by the Spanish show jumping chef d’equipe, Eric van der Vleuten, and Spanish Equestrian Federation’s technical supervisor, Marco Fusté, Spain’s show jumping team for the 2016 Rio Olympic Games has been confirmed as follows:

Eduardo Álvarez Áznar on the 11-year-old, Selle Francis stallion Rockfeller de Pleville Bois Margot (L’Arc De Triomphe x Apache D’Adriers) that is owned by Kaliyuga S. L.

Sergio Álvarez Moya on the 11-year-old, Holsteiner gelding Carlo 273 (Contender x Cascavelle) that is owned by Marta Ortega

Pilar Cordón Muro on the 10-year-old, Belgian Warmblood mare Gribouille de Lys (Quaprice Bois Margot x Venu Du Theil) that is owned by Pilar Muro Navarro

Manuel Fernández Saro on the 12-year-old, Belgian Sporthorse gelding U Watch (President x Nabab De Reve) that is owned by Nafedann Explotaciones S. L.
