The upcoming Hampton Classic Horse Show CSI4* in Bridgehampton, NY will present a new initiative for riders to jump for a good cause during the $75,000 Douglas Elliman CSI4* Grand Prix Qualifier presented by Longines on Friday, September 2nd, 2016.

Presented by NoelleFloyd.com, Jump For Charity pairs 10 top international riders with 10 deserving charities. Each participating rider has autographed 30 Hampton Classic baseball caps complete with the Hampton Classic logo, their name and their partnered charity’s name. With 100% of the funds raised going towards the Jump For Charity initiative, the caps are now available to purchase for $100 each at this link.

With 300 autographed baseball caps, the ambitious goal to raise $30,000 has been set. The worthy cause that is paired with the Jump For Charity rider who places best in the Douglas Elliman Grand Prix Qualifier, will receive the entire amount of money raised from the sale of the Jump for Charity autographed baseball caps. What’s more, the grand prix qualifier allows riders to enter two horses into the class, giving some riders two opportunities to ride for their charity.

“We’re so excited for the opportunity to work closely with some of our longtime charity partners as well as a few new ones. We chose charities for whom $30,000 would have a significant impact. And, hopefully we’ll also help raise awareness for all of these important causes,” said Shanette Barth Cohen, Executive Director of the Hampton Classic.

Callan Solem, who will be representing HEART Equine Ambulance, is filled with excitement about participating in the initiative, “We all [Jump for Charity riders], collectively have been so fortunate to be able to do what we love and to use our work to spread the wealth, so to speak, and benefit these causes is incredible. We’ll all be trying our hardest that’s for sure!”
